New Years Eve Tutorial

Hey Darlings!

Hope you are all well. It has been a few months since I have posted and I apologize! Things have been a whirl wind around here. Not going into detail considering I'd like to keep somethings private but I can assure you I am here to stay :). Christmas sure helped as I got a new camera and Derek got me Power Director Editing software to edit. Now before you get too excited, editing is not one of my strongest points but I will give it my best. Now unlike a ton of guru's out there I can't say that I have the time to do insane amounts of editing but I'm sure simple thinks like watching me put on mascara for 2 minutes is kind of boring to say the least so that's where movie magic comes in haha.

My new favorite brand of cosmetics! Modern Basic is a cosmetic distributor that also does private labeling. & great for students, makeup artists, and even freelance MUA to build their kits or even to just restock since the prices are low. Modern Basic products have been used in schools, and see in various spa's and trade shows (IMATS, Hair shows etc). Thought I'd just pass that along since I just found out about the company.

L'Oreal Infallible Contest- Bright and Smokey

Hey Darlings

Hope your all well! I recently decided to enter into the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Couleur contest and decided to give this a go. I have been hitting a creative brick wall and felt I needed a little push and shove to get my creative juices flowing and I'm hoping this is a kick off to more tutorials from this fall. This look has to be one of my new favorite going out looks. It is just so out of the ordinary for me to wear greens that it makes it more exciting and adventurous to wear. I'm pretty plain I usually go for a traditional smokey eye or a brown smokey nothing with this bright of a color especially greens! 

With this season I find jewel toned colors to be perfect for the holidays! Go ahead and wear this look and replacing the greens with maybe a deep purple or burgundy, or even a dark navy shade!

Double Winged Liner-Clubbing/ Going Out Tutorial

Lately I have been playing with liner quite a bit, you all know me by now and know I love either bold heavy liner, or winged out! Well I found a new way of spicing my love for liner up! Double winging it!

I was in the mall the other day checking out one of my favorite stores (D-Tox) and on the front was a girl who looked very similar to Taylor Momsen a.k.a Jenny Humphrey off of Gossip girl with crazy thick double winged liner and immediately I had to try it out. I want to try and replicate that look asap! But for now I thought I'd just play with the idea of a interesting clubbing going out look, since my contest is all about going out!
